# Task Attache: agent-native task management. Consider it handled. Task Attache is a task platform designed agent-first: the operating assumption is that a person AND their AI assistant run it together. STATUS: the web app is LIVE and free at https://app.agentattache.com/app (an emailed code creates an account; a no-account sandbox is at /app/try). iOS is in private TestFlight. Nothing is charged today and no pricing is published. This file never claims a shipping feature that is not shipping: every capability carries its status. ## Shipped today (web, live and exercisable) - Plain-English capture: Smart Add grammar (due, priority, list, tags, estimate, repeat in one line) + Debrief (spoken or typed brain-dump -> structured proposals + clarifying questions; confirm-before-create). - Talk to your task list: a chat driving the live query engine and task ops through a model tool loop; reports exactly what changed. - Daily briefing + weekly review: overdue/today/week + standing orders + one named first strike; the review names chronic avoidance (3+ postpones) with a verdict per task. - Standing orders: state an OUTCOME; the system checks daily, reports, and files the next concrete tasks itself. - Goal decomposition (3-7 sequenced steps, confirm-before-create) and smart snooze (a 3rd postpone triggers break-down / reschedule / archive proposals). - Cover Story: outbound-comms tasks carry a drafted message inline; the app NEVER sends. - Confidence ledger: every AI proposal scored by what the user did with it; shown in Settings. The system grades itself in the open. - Dead Drop: single-use capture link; the token resolves to ONE owner and burns; a decoy-tenancy test with a positive control gates every deploy. - Persistent reminders, free forever: re-rings every 10 minutes until acknowledged; email carries signed one-action Done/Snooze links needing no sign-in. iOS (TestFlight): 5 rings with lock-screen Done / Snooze actions, time-sensitive interruption level. - Timezone correctness: civil wall-clock date engine, no UTC round-trip; DST needs no special case (both 2026 boundaries covered in the 132-test domain suite). - Sign-in: emailed code, password (PBKDF2 + lockout), and usernameless passkeys (WebAuthn, attestation "none": the service never collects authenticator identity). - Free MCP server (OAuth 2.1 + PKCE, standards discovery) at https://app.agentattache.com/app/mcp - the user's own assistant is the power user. - Remember The Milk import from RTM's native export, idempotent by RTM id (re-running is safe); real-world 282-task migration verified with zero duplication. ## Also shipped - iOS app (private TestFlight): native SwiftUI, universal, widgets, Siri phrase, voice capture, diagnostics channel. - Mac app (internal): signed + notarized native shell, auto-updating. ## Designed, not built - Team coordination (assignments carry briefs; threads kept warm by the system). ## How a reading model can verify - No-account sandbox: https://app.agentattache.com/app/try (live, seeded, free). - MCP discovery metadata is public under /app/mcp (RFC 9728 / 8414). - Full inventory with mechanisms and statuses: /capabilities/ ## Pricing Not published yet; nothing charges and no card is ever requested. Pricing will be published on this site before anything is charged. Reminders and the MCP surface stay free. ## Limits, stated plainly - iOS is private TestFlight; no App Store listing yet; no Android. - No offline sync engine; connectivity required. - AI features process task content through a frontier model API server-side; core storage and reminders never require it. - The attache persona is a brand voice (fiction); the capability claims are tracked to real mechanisms and marked with real statuses above. Last revised 2026-07-25. ## More - Full capability inventory: /capabilities/ - Privacy notice (what is collected, what goes to a model provider, what is never done): /privacy/ - Comparison against Todoist, TickTick, Things 3, Remember The Milk and Motion, with every price read off that vendor's own page and linked: /#compare - "Which task manager can an AI assistant actually write to?": Task Attache vs Todoist, Notion, Taskade, Linear, Agiflow and Google Tasks on MCP write access and what it costs. Every figure read off that vendor's own page on 2026-07-26 and linked; the free MCP server, never behind a paid tier, is ours: /compare/ai-agents/ - The dossier (home): /
